What is UPI Deposits?

UPI (Unified Payments Interface) deposits on Holy Rummy let you transfer money from your bank account directly into your Holy Rummy wallet, no saved card details, no net-banking login, no third-party wallet required. Powered by NPCI's real-time payment rail, UPI operates 24 × 7, including bank holidays and weekends, making it the most reliable funding method on holyrummyapp.org.

When you tap Add Cash inside the Holy Rummy app, the UPI option connects your UPI-linked bank account (SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, and 50+ others) straight to your cash balance. The minimum deposit is ₹25; the maximum per transaction follows your bank's UPI ceiling, typically ₹1,00,000 per transaction and ₹2,00,000 per day across all UPI apps combined.

Holy Rummy charges zero processing fee on every UPI deposit. Funds credit to your wallet in under 10 seconds in the vast majority of cases, and any UPI-enabled app, GPay, PhonePe, Paytm UPI, BHIM, Amazon Pay UPI, works seamlessly.

UPI Deposits on Mobile

The Holy Rummy Android app is built for a single-thumb UPI flow. Tap the wallet icon in the top-right corner of the lobby, select Add Cash, enter your deposit amount, then choose UPI. You will see two sub-options: UPI Intent (auto-launches GPay or PhonePe, you just enter your PIN) or UPI ID / VPA (type your handle such as yourname@oksbi manually). After PIN authentication, return to Holy Rummy, the wallet balance refreshes instantly.

UPI Intent requires only two taps and is recommended for users who have GPay or PhonePe already installed. UPI ID is the better choice when depositing from a secondary device or a handle tied to a different bank. First-time depositors should use the UPI app linked to their primary savings account to stay well within daily transaction limits.

UPI Deposits Safety and Timing

Every UPI deposit on Holy Rummy is protected by NPCI's 256-bit encrypted payment network and Holy Rummy's PCI-DSS compliant gateway. Your UPI PIN is entered inside PhonePe, GPay, or BHIM directly, it is never transmitted to or stored by Holy Rummy's servers. If a transaction is interrupted, NPCI's auto-reversal returns the debited amount to your bank within 2 to 5 business days.

Standard deposits credit in under 10 seconds. Occasional bank-side delays, common during SBI or HDFC maintenance windows around 00:00 to 00:30 IST, can extend credit time to 10 to 30 minutes. If your bank is debited but the Holy Rummy wallet shows no change after 30 minutes, open Payment History in the app and tap Retry Credit before contacting support.
